All That Is Written Mural - Allan K. Smith Center, Trinity College

Commissioned by Trinity College’s English Department, All That Is Written is a site-specific staircase mural exploring the intersection of visual art and literary expression. The work draws on literary symbolism and bold graphic elements to create a layered experience—inviting students, faculty, and visitors to consider the power of writing as both personal and collective memory. Inspired by conversations and ideas shared in a community survey, this mural was designed to honor storytelling as a living, evolving practice. Special thanks to Professor Hager for championing this project from the beginning.
